Easter
We went on a weekend get away/shopping spree over Easter weekend. We stayed two nights in a hotel and spent the weekend eating, shopping and watching a movie in our hotel room. It was a great little family get away. On Sunday we got up and ready for church and headed back home. When we got home, the kids found that the Easter Bunny had come and left lots of eggs and a surprise for each of them. After church we had a wonderful Easter meal with Aunt Cami and the boys and our wonderful family friends.

Happy Birthday Bailee!
Our Miss B turned 9 on April 4th...we cannot believe we have a 9 year old! Where has the time gone?! Bailee had a Wizards of Waverly Place birthday this year. The only thing Bailee asked for this birthday was a basketball. She didn't even ask for a hoop to go with it, just a basketball. Alan and I decided it would be fun to completely surprise her with a basketball hoop. So we played it up...whenever she told us she wanted a basketball we would ask why and ask what she was going to do with a basketball when we didn't even have a basketball hoop. The morning of Bailee's birthday we let her open one present before school...the basketball of course! She was very excited. After getting ready for school and just before it was time to leave, we told Bailee to go out to the driveway and try bouncing her new ball. She was quite surprised when she got out there and saw what was awaiting her! I think it's safe to say that Bailee enjoyed her day. Brikelle and I took donuts to her class at school, we ate dinner and dessert at Chili's, and then she got to open the rest of her presents at home. The weekend after her birthday we had a BBQ party with her neighborhood friends and Aunt Cami and the boys. We Love You so much Miss B and we are so proud of the wonderful young lady you are turning into...you are beautiful both inside and out. Even though you get older each year, you will always be your mom and dad's little girl forever.
