ANIMAL KINGDOM Day 2

We spent the second day of our vacation at the Animal Kingdom. It was a fun time and new to all of us. The kids got to meet a lot of the characters there and get pictures taken with them. We also got to go on an "African Safari". That was pretty cool and fun!

The pictures of all 3 kids and Winnie the Pooh turned out dark so this was the best one to choose from.

MAGIC KINGDOM Days 1 & 3

We had a great time at Disney! We spent 3 days there and went like crazy the whole time. The first day we spent at the Magic Kingdom, the second day we spent at the Animal Kingdom which was a first for all of us, and the third day was back to the Magic Kingdom. We were able to ride rides that we didn't have the chance to last time and even got to see/meet some characters that we didn't see last time. Brikelle loved Snow White's Scary Adventure ride our first time at Disney, but did not like it this time around...I think the old, evil woman scared her. She also didn't like the Winnie the Pooh ride which surprised me, but all the other rides she went on she loved. Bailee and Braden loved every ride they did. We're grateful that we were able to take a break from everyday life and have some wonderful family time.

We weren't in time to stand in line to meet Captain Hook but were able to see him up close and get a few pics.

Bailee was picked to help "drive" the boat. She has wanted to ever since Braden got to on our first trip and was thrilled when she was picked!

Brikelle really liked Buzz and would not turn around for the picture, she just kept hugging him. I had to put this picture in...Alan and I cracked up...she licked Buzz. Enough said!

Monday Makings

I can't believe it's February already! This week we made patriotic Valentine pictures. We painted white poster board with red and blue paint and then glued red, white & blue beads on to make hearts. Simple and fun!

On another note...Bailee's 100th day of school is next Monday. All the kids were assigned to create a project using 100 items. We came up with the idea to spell AMERICA with beads. I'm glad dad was here to help with this one...he figured out all the lettering and he and Bailee worked on it together.
