HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIKELLE!!!

It's hard to believe that our baby is 3! We blinked our eyes and she went from a newborn to a 3 year old. Brikelle was so excited for her birthday! The morning of her birthday we were still sleeping and she came in our room and announced "it's my birthday!" Dad let Bailee and Braden take the day off from school so we could all have one more full day together. We celebrated Miss Brikelle's birthday by opening presents, going to Monkey Joe's for some play time, going to Cici's Pizza for dinner and then back home for cake. I'm pretty sure this little girl had a fun day!

I was going to make a special breakfast of pancakes with a candle in it but nope...she wanted her Cocoa Krispies!

Her favorite past time...watching princess movies!
All ready for Monkey Joe's (this is how she looked before...

...and this is how she looked after an hour of some serious play!)

Pizza time!
Aunt Cami, Colton and Skyler joined us for pizza...Uncle Rick was still playing army.
Brikelle changed her mind everyday of what kind of birthday and cake she wanted. She would go back and forth from Tinker Bell to Sleeping Beauty...so we did both...half Tinker Bell decorations and half Disney Princess decorations. She was thrilled!

Occupational Alphabet

The pictures aren't the best quality but we got to go to Career Night at Bailee and Braden's school. Some of the Kindergarten kids were part of an "Occupational Alphabet"...each kid was dressed as a career for their letter. Braden was the letter P for Policeman. What a super cute alphabet!

The Lot...Our Lot

It may not look like much to you, but it's beautiful to us. Six months from now this will be our new home!

Christmas in Utah

Although it was too fast and too short of a trip, we had a great time in Utah for Christmas with our families. We did a lot of eating and visiting. Our first night there we enjoyed a yummy taco dinner with my family and then we all decorated the famous "Charlie Brown" tree and read some Christmas stories. Christmas Eve we had a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa Jones house for a big gathering...lots of people, lots of food, live entertainment and a special visit from Santa! Christmas Day was a nice day spent at Grandma and Grandpa Hall's house and the day after Christmas was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Paxton's new home. The kids LOVED playing with their cousins from all sides and Bailee enjoyed a couple of sleepovers with her cousin Brooklyn. Dad and the kids even found time to go out and play in the snow! We feel blessed and are thankful we were able to go "home" for Christmas and be with our family.

Classroom Zoo

Mom and Brikelle got to take a trip to Bailee's classroom zoo! It was the cutest and best zoo I've ever been to! Each kid in the class picked an animal or insect to research and write about and then they got to create their animal/insect. Bailee chose the panda bear. After many weeks of hard work in class and many weeks of display in the hallway, the class got to turn their classroom into a zoo for the parents to come visit. The classroom had a display of many different animals and insects all around and us parents got to go around to each one and "push the red button" on the statues to listen and learn about all the different animals/insects. We now have a BIG panda bear living at our house!
