Tregembo Animal Park

This was a fun little "zoo" that we took the kids to. They got to throw peanuts and corn to a bunch of different animals!

Just Fun Pictures

My dad taught me well...when you see a fire truck, you stop and take a picture. These are for you Firefighter Mike!

Braden and Dad boxing. Braden is an awesome boxer...always knocking out his opponent!

Monkey Joe's

Monkey Joe's is an indoor play place that has a bunch of different types of jump houses and slides. On Tuesday we took the kids and met a friend and her two kids there. The kids had a blast and went non-stop for about 2 hours! Brikelle was entertained for quite some time in the toddler area, but then decided she was big enough to move on to bigger and better! Braden was hardly seen and spent pretty much the first hour in the pirate jump house. Bailee had a good time going all over the place with her friend, and towards the end was very helpful with Brikelle and took her on all the bigger things. It's hard to get pictures in a place like this because they are constantly on the go, but we managed a few shots!

Camp Out

We had a family camp out in the living room! Dad and the kids made beds on the floor, Mom took the couch! Brikelle ended up going to her own bed once it was time to go to sleep, but Bailee and Braden loved it and want to do it again!

4th of July Weekend

We had a fun filled 4th of July weekend! We started with swimming in the fun pool at Uncle Rick & Aunt Cami's housing area on Friday. Being a holiday weekend we expected the pool to be packed. We were pleasantly surprised to find only a handful of people there...much more enjoyable that way! On Saturday we had a BBQ at our house with Uncle Rick and family. Alan got to use his brand new grill that he came home to (it was his belated Father's Day/welcome home gift!). After the BBQ we enjoyed a yummy dessert provided by Aunt Cami and a firework show put on by the "men". We started with sparklers. I helped Brikelle with hers and had to keep her from trying to touch the sparkler as it was going. As soon as the sparkler was done burning she grabbed the hot part and I wasn't quick enough to stop her. Needless to say, she burned her hand and has a nice looking blister on her finger. She was so upset and it took awhile to calm her. Once she calmed down we started the fireworks and at first Brikelle liked them and thought they were cool, but once they started getting loud she wasn't very fond of them. Eventually she started crying so Mom and Brikelle watched from Dad's truck. That satisfied her for a bit but then she was done and wanted to go inside. Once she was settled watching her Blue's Clues movie, I was able to go out and watch the rest of the show! On Sunday we enjoyed some super yummy Smores...the pictures speak for themselves! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend too!

Happy Birthday America!
