Botanical Gardens
A couple of Sundays ago some of us "single" moms from church went to the Botanical Gardens after church for a picnic. I'd never been there before...it was beautiful! I have a passion for taking photos of nature so this place was perfect! The kids had so much fun playing in the sandbox and all the girls enjoyed gathering flowers and petals that had fallen to the ground. The time went by so fast and the gardens closed before we knew it. I would really like to go back as a family once our daddy returns home and take more time walking through the gardens.

Book Premiere
Book Premiere Night is one of my favorite nights at the school. Every kid in the school becomes an author and illustrator of their own books...they work on these books for weeks at school. On Book Premiere Night the parents get to come and see/read their child's book. It's so fun to see the excitement in the kids faces! The night first started out with a PTO program which the Kindergartner's sang some songs. Following the program we got to head to the classrooms and see the books.

Snow Fun
This picture disappeared...I couldn't NOT put it in! So here it is...out of order but still cute!

So I am aware that it is now Spring (well maybe not in Utah...), but I never blogged about our snow days so...better late than never right? Amazingly we had 3 different snow storms this year. Three snow storms and many snow days home from school because of it! The first snow storm was more like an ice storm...it was bitter cold and everything was very icy. This made for some fun sledding thanks to the neighbors and their nifty sled! The second storm was perfect for snowballs and snowmen. The third storm (no pictures) was very slushy and messy. The kids were so excited to have snow again this year! Enjoy the pictures!
