CHEER

Bailee was old enough to do cheer this year, so of course she chose that over playing soccer. I'll be honest, Alan and I weren't too fond of the idea in the beginning! Bailee did AWESOME!!! She worked so hard and really became quite the good little cheerleader. I am so impressed with Bailee and all the girls on her cheer squad...they learned so many cheers so fast and remembered every single one! And apparently Bailee became a cheer coach at recess! Some of the teachers from school would tell us that Bailee and a friend that was also on her squad would teach cheers to a group of girls everyday and then do the cheers for the teachers out there! Between cheer and soccer we definitely were crazy busy but it was fun...we're just happy to be done for now!

SOCCER

This was Braden's first soccer season. It was...interesting, fun, funny, frustrating. His team was young (4-6 year olds...only one 6 year old...the rest were 4 and 5). Braden did awesome during practices but during games he wouldn't do what we knew he was capable of. I think it was a good experience for him though and he definitely got his exercise! The first game his team (The Tigers) won was also the last game of the season. Braden and EVERY kid on his team played awesome that last game...every one of them was really into it. Either it finally clicked with all of them, or they were all excited that it was the last game of the season! Whatever it was, it was a good way to end the season!

"Oh Deer"

Last year at this time when Brikelle was 21 months old, she learned to say the phrase "oh dear". She would put her hands up to her cheeks and say "oh dear". Now at 2 1/2 years old she will still say it once in awhile. How could I not get her this sweat outfit when I saw it?!

Our Halloween Fun

We had a good Halloween at our house. We spent the day doing different activities with the kids. We carved our pumpkins, baked some cookies, did some Halloween coloring and print out activities, played Pin the Face on the Pumpkin, ordered and ate our traditional dinner of pizza and of course got all dressed up and went Trick-or-Treating around the neighborhood. I think the kids and the parents had a good day!

All ready to "sharve" (that's what Braden kept saying) those pumpkins

Lookin' good...the pumpkins and the kids!
Time for some Pin the Face on the Pumpkin
Braden is a perfectionist (all 3 kids are...can't imagine where they get that from...) he didn't think his silly face was funny and had to fix it right when the game was all done!
Brikelle was the best to watch...she probably wondered how the heck you're supposed to see what you're doing with a blind fold on. Don't worry, she found the solution...lift up the blind fold to see where to put everything!

Bailee just giggled and giggled the whole time...she has the best giggle ever!

Fairy Princess Silvermist (Tinker Bell's friend) minus the wings...they bothered her!

"Dark" Vader
"Dark" Vader reminded me he can't breath without his mask...

Bailee doesn't have it in her to be a mean, old, ugly witch. A beautiful, nice witch is more her style!

Enough pictures...lets get some candy!

Bailee's
Brikelle's (left) & Braden's (right)

Braden named his pumpkin Jack. Therefore Bailee named hers Lantern and Brikelle's O!

Fun on the Farm

One of our favorite things to do this time of year is to go to the cute little farm up the road from us. It's not a huge farm and it only has a few animals but we all enjoy going there. The kids like to see the animals they do have and play in the "Farmers Market" and we all like to go for a hayride and get our pumpkins for Halloween, and we can't forget buying that delicious jam!
