Monday Makings

Here is this weeks craft project. Thankfully daddy was home to help with this one! We painted the kids feet and made ghosts out of their footprints. I bought a piece of shiny paper and a piece of regular paper so we used both to see which we liked best. I think I like the regular paper best and I think our little ghosts are quite cute!

1. Where did you meet? Governor's Day Parade (we were introduced)

2. How long did you date before you got married? 8 or 9 months...4 of those months were long distance.

3. How long have you been married? 7 1/2 years...it's gone way fast!

4. What does he do that surprises you? I don't think anything really surprises me...

6. What is your favorite feature of his? Well I like a lot of things, but to mention just one I'd say his eyes.

7. What is your favorite quality of his? He is an awesome Dad and husband, he is a very hard worker, he is quite the handyman, he is a good cook...the list could go on and on.

8. Does he have a nickname for you? Not really anything other than the usual babe/honey etc.

9. What is his favorite color? Gray/Black

10. What is his favorite food? Ribs and wings

11. What is his favorite sport? FOOTBALL

12. When and where was your first kiss? 4th date I think, outside by his car.

13. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to rent movies...something we do every weekend.

14. Do you have any children? Hello...

15. Does he have a hidden talent? He knows how to sew and he can play a little guitar.

16. How old is he? His birthday is this month and he will be 38...Oops I mean 24.

17. Who said "I love you" first? He actually said it first, although I totally knew we were meant for each other after our 2nd date!

18. What is his favorite type of music? That really loud stuff that I SO don't like! His music selection has totally widened since we've been married!

19. What do you admire most about him? How much he respects and loves me and how much he adores his kids.

20. Do you think he will read this? Eventually

Monday Makings

With the holidays quickly approaching, I decided over the weekend that starting in the month of October I wanted to do a different craft with the kids every Monday as part of Family Home Evening. So although it's not officially October yet, we did our first craft today. We used finger paints and printouts to make paper plate pumpkins. The kids really enjoyed it and Brikelle thought it was great to stick her hands in the bowl of finger paint and rub it all over! So with each week and each craft I will post our makings for you to see!

The final project-from left to right: Brikelle, Braden, Bailee. Once dry they will go in our front windows for all to see!

Our Pretty Little Princesses

I just thought it would be fun to post pictures of our beautiful little girls in the same pretty little dress (a special gift from Grandma Paxton) around the same age. Here they are...are they sisters or what?!?!

I just wanted to post a picture of us sisters. I miss my sisters a lot and miss that our children aren't able to grow up together. It's not often that all 3 of us are able to be together, but when we are we have fun chatting and laughing! Just want you girls to know how much I love you and I'm so happy that you are my sisters!

9-11 ALWAYS REMEMBER

This Weekend...

...we were happy to learn that Braden is a healthy boy despite some concerns,
we were part of Tropical Storm Hanna and although we had a lot of rain and some heavy winds, we're thankful that there was no damage to our home or surrounding area,

Bailee started soccer and had her first practice which she was excited about and enjoyed,

Brikelle went to nursery for the first time and had fun as long as daddy stayed in with her...her 2 favorite things were singing time and playing ring around the rosie

and the little monkey discovered that if there's food left on the table she can climb on the chairs and enjoy!
